Sausalito MLS Listings and Info

Sausalito is a favorite tourist destination. Right on the water, a picturesque Mediterranean-style community with a proximity to San Francisco (only six miles away) that makes it incredibly desirable.

Similar to a Mediterranean fishing village, sail boats line the waterfront and the promenade offers spectacular views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz and Angel Island.

Sausalito was incorporated in 1893, making it one of the oldest established communities in the North Bay, and downtown is a National Historic Landmark District. Bridgeway is the main street running through the center of town, and it is lined with a variety of boutiques, art galleries, waterfront restaurants and first class hotels.

Sausalito is an out-and-out play land, with parks and playgrounds, private docks, trails, state recreation facilities and the annual Sausalito Art Festival.
