Kentfield

Kentfield is a wealthy unincorporated village, bordering Larkspur and Ross. It is almost entirely residential, and there is no town to speak of. Strong family values dominate the society, and most residents are actively involved in the community. The physical and cultural center is the Woodlands Market off College Ave. Woodlands Market is one of the finest boutique markets in Northern California. Among the Kentfield's many attributes are: beautiful wooded neighborhoods, magnificent views, showplace homes and good schools. In addition, Kentfield s home of College of Marin (part of the California Community College system) and plenty of recreational opportunities.

Kentfield is marked by expensive showplace homes in wooded neighborhoods. Many of the homes sit on large lots, and architecture styles vary. The Kentfield School District serves both Greenbrae and Kentfield. Many families seek to locate in the region so their children can attend the highly regarded schools. The total district enrollment is approximately 1,045 students. It is comprised of two different sites: Bacich Elementary School and Kent Middle School. Graduates go on to Redwood High in the Tamalpais Union High School District.
