| Corte Madera Corte
Madera is hard to define. It became a town in 1917, and
although best known to outsiders for its shopping centers,
Corte Madera is extremely diverse. In addition to The Corte
Madera Town Center and The Village, Corte Madera is home
to lush open space, bordering wetlands, the 22 acre Town
Park, the Corte Madera State Ecological Reserve, Ring Mountain
and more. Corte Madera
has been a pioneer in the art of land preservation. Corte
Madera maintains a small town feel, and there is a strong
sense of community.
